Our Kokua Skills Workshops will be held at our brick Kokua Thrift Shop’s brick and mortar location (TBD) for the purpose of conducting free job training programs and offering volunteer and employment opportunities for our program participants, along with our target beneficiaries.
Kokua Skills Workshops will teach skills relating to running a small business and our specific retail operations. Participants can gain work and volunteer experience while obtaining crucial job and life skills that empower them to succeed. Students will also have the opportunity to learn about skilled labor trades, such as plumbing, carpentry, electrical, etc. through demonstrative workshops/courses.
